            Monumental Pair of Gilt Bronze and Verde Antico Marble Seven-Light Candelabras 
 Eugène Cornu was a sculptor and director of A. & Co. Pallu, a marble and Onyx Company of Algeria. His successor was G. Viot. Cornu specialized in luxury pieces of Algerian onyx, bronze and champlevé enamel combined. The company also produced objects from models of Albert Carrier-Belleuse, Charles Cordier and Louis-Alfred Barrias. Cornu received a gold medal at the for his designs World Fairs of London in 1862 - 1872 for his designs.
