The brècheviolette marble top above a breakfront frieze with three drawers over two cupboard doors opening to reveal a shelf, decorated throughout with trellis parquetry, the center panel with a marquetry scene of a ewer and musical trophy, the reverse of the lock plates indistinctly stamped with a star over numbers, the reverse of some mounts variously stamped 'CL' and 'CV'
