A fine Louis XVI-style large gilt-bronze and greige marble figural mantel clock is surmounted by three dore bronze putti figures hanging floral adornments among clouds with love birds and Cupid's bow. Raised on bronze feet with ormolu decoration throughout.
One putti holds a triumphant wreath while the other carries a floral bouquet, flanked to each side by floral swags and behaviors of love; with kissing doves, on full cloud shaped, wind swept bases. The last putti rests under the dial, reclined above a scrolling foliate frieze with two putti franking a cornucopia bursting with two doves and garlands of flowers. The beautifully decorated circular white enamel dial with wreaths of flowers and brilliant blue bows, with arabic numerals.
