A Fine Quality Pair of Patinated Bronze Sculptures of Soldiers by Etienne Dumaige
Etienne Henry Dumaige (1830-1888)
Female figural bronze by Etienne Henry Dumaige (1830-1888) of Psyche with lit Oil Lamp, perched on a stump. Her gaze is incredibly striking, commanding the eye of the viewer. The lamp dangles from her fingertips, a small lone flame emanates from the lip. The dynamic drapery of her dress is crisp, defined, and finely casted.
