A Fabulous 19th Century Ormolu-Mounted Tulipwood Bureau Plat by G. Durand

The serpentine top above three drawers, the reverse set with false drawers, the underside variously stamped G. DURAND Durand exhibited in the Exposition Universelle of 1889 where he received silver medal. His designs were in competition to those of Beurdeley and Dasson.
