A spectacular, highly adorned, Sèvres urn in the arts and crafts style. Skillfully hand painted garden scenes of maidens and putti on either side. Set on a turquoise ground are brightly colored flowers, foliage, scroll forms and a few small portraits which frame the central garden scenes. Doused in an iridescent glaze and flanked by two gilt bronze goddesses carrying baskets bursting with garlands. Finished with raised gold painted ornament that contrasts the smooth porcelain beautifully.
