A PAIR OF ORMOLU-MOUNTED SEVRES STYLE GREEN-GROUND 'NAPOLEONIC' PORCELAIN VASES AND COVERS, BLUE CROSSED ARROWS MARKS PROBABLY FOR ACHILLE AND BLOCH
Each flanked by seated maiden herm handles issuing scrolling berried and flowering vine, the neck gilt with paired sphinxes, gilt with either a crowned 'N' or a 'J' for Napoleon and Josephine within scrollwork, the reverse with a Napoleonic eagle.
