Pair of Rouge Marble Vases with Putti and Drapery

A pair of rouge marble vases with gilt bronze ornamentation. A twisted band encircles the base while two garlandesque bands wrap around the lip and fillet. Putti fly around the belly of each vase, carrying draped fabric that cascades across the front of the vase.  A single scroll handle culminates in a mascaron of a bearded god, all mounted on rouge marble.
