A Large Chinese Cloisonne Enamel Censer with Elephant Motif

Consisting of a barrel-form body decorated with scrolling lotus and symmetrical Huiwen motifs on a turquoise ground cloisonne. Supported by three gilt bronze  mounted elephant-head legs and flanked by a pair of arched elephant-trunk handles; all surmounted by a domed cover with a sleepy elephant finial carrying a boshanlu.
