Art Nouveau Royal Vienna Hand-Painted Porcelain Portrait Cabinet Vase

Fine royal Vienna portrait vase of a soft faced beauty with wispy hair, brown eyes and a neutral expression is encircled by a band of polychrome gold paint. Two tones of blue from the base and neck converge on the belly, creating a beautiful diffused green graduation behind the portrait. White glazed flowers dapple the vase and are lined in gold polychrome paint, accompanied by full polychrome gold flowers and heart shaped leaves, a design motif evocative to the art nouveau period.
