Exotic Bronze mounted Porcelain Vase

A stunning hand painted porcelain portrait vase with painted architectural decorative motifs all outlined in gold paint. A woman in early 1800's style dress is painted on the belly of the urn with a turquoise background, dappled in silver and gold fleur de lis, surrounding her. Royal blue archways frame the neck and belly of the vase, alternating between pointed gothic archways and rounded arches. Mounted with gilt bronze in chinoiserie style, dragon handles flank the vase while the lip of the urn is adorned with a scalloped edge with monkey mascron accents, surmounted on a three tiered base with a white Onyx platform set on dragon feet.
