L'Aurore is a darling female figural bronze statue by the renowned French sculturalist Auguste Moreau (French, 1834-1917). A patinated bronze Art Nouveau sculptural nymph symbolizing the Dawn. She stands atop a globe enveloped by wispy clouds and dappled in stars, wrapped in a billowing drape. She reaches to the heavens with the drape in hand, creating a curved crescent shape that frames the top of the composition. Signed "Auguste Moreau" to globe with a title plaque to front of the base.
