Sevres Ormolu-Mounted Covered Vase of Cupid and Cherubs

Sevres Ormolu-Mounted Covered Vase of impressive size depicting cupid and two cherubs in a lush and colorful garden on both sides. The glazed painting applied bursts with bright and bold pinks, reds, yellows and blues on the front that diffuse into pasted greens and blues. Dappled with small birds and branches throughout, the neck, cover and base have a deep blue glazed ground and exquisite applied raised gilt painted ornament.
