Very high quality Commode a Vantaux attributed to F. Linke

Acajou, buis and ebene stringing, serpentine verte marble top, two fireze drawers, cupboard doors opening to an arrangement of six open drawers. The original model was conceived at the command of the Garde-Meuble by German-born Guillaume Benneman, master cabinet maker in 1785.
