A  Fine Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Kingwood Marble-Top Vitrine attributed to F Linke .

This magnificent Louis XV-style vitrine, c. 19th century, is confidently attributed to renowned French ébéniste François Linke, displaying his unparalleled mastery of 18th century Revival forms.

The vitrine features a rectangular Breche d'Alep marble top above an architectural case lavishly mounted in gilt bronze and exhibition-quality kingwood veneers. Its glass fronts and sides are framed by finely chased rocaille ormolu mountings of asymmetrical C-scrolls interspersed with delicate floral swags.

The vitrine stands on elegant cabriole legs culminating in scrolled feet, echoing the sinuous silhouettes prevalent during King Louis XV's reign. The sides bear Linke's characteristic high relief bronze female masks among foliage.

This vitrine encapsulates the ébéniste's exacting standards. Its graceful presence promises to display and safeguard the most precious porcelain or objets d'art collections. A true tour-de-force destined for appreciation by connoisseurs of French decorative arts.
