Royal Vienna Porcelain Bacchante Portrait Plate

An exquisite hand painted portrait plate of a Bacchante titled Hebe by the Royal Vienna porcelain workshop. The two toned blue brim had been ornamented with gold painted quatrefoils and shields that frame raised gold painted vases. Raised gold painted floral, foliage and greek key forms frame the rest of the composition surrounding a hand painted portrait of a bacchante with three bushels of red grapes in her hair. Blue royal vienna beehive mark on the back.
